“Abundance is my given right, I’m health, wealthy and happy”
This is the mantra I say over and over every time I get to feeling blue, my pain returns or I just want to give up and move on already. The past week I have been kinda down but not from anyone thing. Work has been overly taxing and I ran out of my sleeping pills making it VERY difficult to sleep and have just had no energy to speak of. Not to mention trying to get my Christmas shopping done and having to deal with the crazy people driving every evening on my was home. Everyone is just always in a hurry. The other night there were 3 accidents in a 10 mile stretch and all because they weren’t paying attention.
The good news is I finally got my nystatin script and began taking it about 3 weeks ago. So far it appears to be working. I haven’t had any problems with my ulcerative colitis acting up and having “normal” bowel movements makes me very happy. I haven’t had any cramping or bloating that cause significant pain and I think it’s helping with my flare-ups as my sacrum only hurts if I have sat for some considerable amount of time. When it does start to bother me I just go and lay down and the pain eases significantly.
I have been watching everything I eat to make sure I don’t ingest any fermented products but have not stuck to a strict gluten-free diet. Again just checking to make sure there are no malt or vinegar additives. Next week I will be seeing the bio-feedback therapist and hopefully the machine will tell me if this is working as it should say that the fungal levels in my gut have decreased. I’m not thinking about adding good flora back into my gut until I have significantly less fungus as I don’t want it feeding the yeast.
Now in the past week I have been doing a lot of research on gluten-free diets and its benefits or lack there of to the non-celiac body. I have found some interesting research and should have the article up soon.
