Well since last I wrote things have been good and then not so good. My back has been flaring up but my stomach is been good. I still get the “energy surges” at night, my new word for night sweats but have found that if I drink 2 oz of apple cider vinegar at night before bed they aren’t too bad. This month is Ankylosing Spondylitis awareness month and have been getting a lot of new information from posts on Facebook. I’m hoping this weekend I can post some for future reference. I have been sticking to my no starch diet as best I can but sometimes I just NEED something with starch, like a hamburger or huevos rancheros, which I had this last Sunday. My stomach has been tolerating it but I know that is why my back flares up. The last two days I have been coming into work later, around 10, and that has made a lot of difference in my pain level. I have been able to go a couple of days with just a lortab at night but other times I have needed an oxy first thing in the morning. I am hoping to get some much needed rest this weekend so that life goes on…..
